Welcome to the Player Select portion of the blogsite!
Where Bradlibum is going to selflessly promote another one of his hobbies.So Player Select is a dream for Random (John) and I in which we could have fun playing games and possibly rekindle our friendship. Right now we are recording and streaming computer games that we get. I would have to say that a good chunk of them are older games that we got off of Humble Bundle, but we enjoy them anyways. Our goal is to gain a cult following and take over the world! Since that is not a realistic dream, we have settled for gaining a fan base and someday monetizing the channel to assist with the costs of being a YouTuber/Streamer.
Check out the following below to help out Player Select. Even the smallest thing like popping into a chat or leaving a comment is beneficial, not only to the channel, but to Brad and John’s self-esteem.

Check out the videos we have made. We love comments even though we do not get that many. Something as simple as a comment, a view or sharing our videos is greatly appreciated by John and I. We are one day hoping to monetize the channel so we can use any proceeds to go towards better equipment and software. If we are successful enough, we could even attempt to do this as a career, but right now it is only a dream.
To achieve this dream, all we need is 10,000 lifetime views. From what we are gathering, that is cumulative views and not just per video.
Keep up to date with the Player Select posts. They let you know when their videos are uploaded and they also watch out for games that go on sale for free. Share the love by sharing their posts. Brad and John will keep an eye on the Facebook page and respond to any comments.
Twitch
If you are unfamiliar with Twitch it is essentially a live-streaming platform for video games. Unfortunately, John and I have separate accounts, but that is ok. We are still supporting each other in any way that we can. We have a secondary goal that may be more attainable than the YouTube goal and that is to become a Twitch Partner. There are a few conditions to do this though. One of the biggest conditions is having regular viewers come to the stream. Although we can work on content, we cannot force people to watch our stream. If you would happen to know anybody that may be interested in watching, give them a heads up that we exist.

Discord
Discord is a platform for a person or group to build a community. People can join for free and chat in real time with other fans of the same content. There can even be subgroups within a group to talk about specific topics. We are hoping to grow a community where people can go on and share their ideas with each other and support each other. The last thing we want is a group of trolls getting into our chat and ruining the fun for everyone.
Patreon
If you are not familiar with Patreon, it is essentially a website that you can donate money to individuals or campaigns that are created. Usually the donations are on a repeating monthly cycle and you typically get rewards or perks for donating at different levels, but fret not because you can decide to cancel your donations at any time without repercussions.
Ko-fi
